This is the first year that the college's group of "Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities" is shown. There were international students among the Upper Division: David L. Bunbury from Georgetown, British Guiana, Alexander James Chalmers from Nuevo Gerona, Isle of Pines, Cuba, Shizu Nomura from Fukui, Japan, and Josephine Wittig from Guatemala City, Guatemala. This edition of the Chimes is dedicated to Albert Greer Weilder the Dean of Labor, Emeritus. There was an exchange student in the Foundation School this year as well, David Zook from Oaxaca, Mexico. The only added activity in the Foundation School this year was the Business Club. Newly represented groups in the College include: Berea Christian Youth Council, Religious Emphasis Week Committee, Spanish Club, Radio Club, History and Political Science Club, and the Penguin Club.
