The newly formed Campus Activities Board brought The Box Tops to campus this year. International students to graduate from the college include: Inoue Makiko from Osaka, Japan and Lilamani Perera from Colombo, Ceylon. Professor Andrew Baskins' college picture is located on page 59. Appalachian Studies was introduced this year, with director David Walls (page 85). Organizations added to the yearbook this year include: the Polyesters, the Berea College Band, the Film Symposium, and the Pearson Trio. A section highlights Berea College students attending the Washington Moratorium on November 15, 1969. Another section highlights the beginning of construction for Danforth as well as Pearson's residence halls, with yet another section highlighting the creation of the new Hafer-Gibson Nursing Building.
