E. H. Fairchild Papers (1860-1973): This collection consists of official and personal papers of Berea College's first president, Edward Henry Fairchild. Materials include personal papers, manuscript reminiscences, essays, photographs and printed articles by and about the Fairchild family.
William B. Stewart Papers: Presidents: This collection consists of official and personal papers (predominant dates 1890-1892) of Berea College's second president, William B. Stewart, including fragmentary correspondence, clippings, and copies of speeches. The collection consists predominantly of photocopied materials which were assembled to produce a fuller reference source on Stewart's presidency.
William Goodell Frost Papers: Presidents: (Predominate dates: 1860-1894) his collection consists of official and personal papers of, William Goodell Frost, who served as Berea College's third president from 1892 to 1920. The Frost papers include personal and official correspondence; sermons, addresses, and lectures; manuscript writings; diaries; reports; photographs; and papers of Frost's wife, Eleanor Marsh Frost. The papers provide important documentation of Frost's life, racial issues in Kentucky, and on the history of Berea College.
William J. Hutchins Papers: Presidents: (Predominate dates: 1900-1958) The collection consists of both personal and official papers of William J. Hutchins and document Hutchins career as a pastor and an educator, his work as President of Berea College, his travels, and correspondence with family members and others.
Francis S. Hutchins Papers: Presidents: (Predominant dates: 1924-1979) These are official records and personal papers of the fifth president of Berea College, Francis S. Hutchins. Records generally document Hutchins' administration as well as his years with the Yale-in-China Association.
John Bell Stephenson Papers: Presidents: These are official records and personal papers (1984-1994) of the seventh president of Berea College, John Bell Stephenson.
