Audio cassette recordings of worship services and interviews that document Old Regular and Primitive Baptist singing and preaching traditions in southeastern Kentucky. The recordings were made primarily in the 1970s and 1980s by Berea College faculty members Loyal Jones and John Wallhauser, other researchers, and church members. The churches represented are located mostly in Floyd, Knott, Letcher, and Perry counties. Comprised of 13 reel-to-reel audio tapes, 23 sound cassette recordings, and documentation of recordings.
