Performers at a related concert that followed included Bruce Greene, Clyde Davenport, Jean Ritchie, John Herman and Bobby Fulcher. Jeff Titon, an Ethnomusicologist from Brown University, was at the time the Goode visiting professor in Appalachian Studies. The events were sponsored by Berea’s Appalachian Center with support from the Berea and Kentucky Arts Councils.Additional recordings, not presently online, document a Berea symposium event on 5-19-90 relating to the making of the film documentary "Power House For God" which Jeff Titon helped produce.
