Transcript: THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON April 25, 1963 Dear Miss Capps, I would like to express my deep thanks to you and to all of the members of the Berea Country Dancers for their very fine performance here at The White House this week. The President and all of my staff have told me what a fine performance they gave. I know how much pleasure they brought to our young guests on the lawn. I would like to not only thank you for coming, but also send my very best wishes to all of the members of the Berea Country Dancers for continued sucess in their college and artistic careers. The President is delighted with his wooden "relaxing gadget", which you so kindly brought him. The children are enchanted with their Berea-made stuffed animals. The ducks and the kangeroo have a very important place in their nursery now. With all best wishes, Sincerely Jacqueline Kennedy Miss Ethel Capps Director Berea College, Box 287 Berea, Kentucky
