Letter: Katherine H. McLeod to Katharine C. Griggs (1945-08-31)
creator:
McLeod, Katherine L. Hutchinson, 1879-1958
subject:
Correspondence; Berea College
description:
Katherine H. McLeod to Katharine C. Griggs; McLeod writes to Griggs in response to the latter's letter. Griggs had sent her some information about the school, and how it has changed since McLeod's time attending. McLeod speaks of having many classes in Lincoln Hall while attending Berea, where at the time of the letter it had become almost entirely an administration building, save for the third floor. She is very excited to hear of the expansion of the college from her days as a student. She continues to talk about the school and what has changed after that, drifting to several topics including a mulberry tree she knew of on campus.
